Get Paid to Hack

Published by J Scott under other

Back in the day when we had to dial to other computers through an external modem, I wanted to be a hacker. Especially after I saw the movie, War Games. I loved using DOS commands and even today, I am still pretty happy coding but I don’t want to be a hacker. Maybe I should if this writing thing doesn’t pan out. Anyway Ethical Hacking is real job and very in demand in our technological world.

Ever hear the phrase to catch a crook you have to be a crook? Perhaps that is not the exact saying but you get the idea. Hackers, in my opinion, are incredibly intelligent individuals and they can wreak some major havoc on a computer system anywhere. But you could be the guy or gal that becomes Certified Ethical Hacker and find the problems of an IT system and solve them. Let’s not forget that there is a whole field of forensic science dedicated to hacking into people’s computers for clues. This is field of work has many employment possibilities with a good pay.

So how does one become an ethical hacker? First, you might want to visit the EC-Council and learn about the online courses they offer such as security fundamentals, ethical hacking, penetration testing, computer forensics, disaster recovery and secure programming. Any of these fields can offer you a rewarding career in the IT field. When you decide to take the initiative to enroll in the classes, you can be a leader in IT Security.

So why not check it out today!

Arson

As the night encroaches the lies fall apart, the clothes come off
Rhapsody is the nectar of the room, fall into me, make me
Sing into the witching hour. Because time is
Only nothing when we are together. And igniting the
Nebula of tomorrow with increasing desire.

Primordial Passion

cold days
spitting flurries
hopes for a sunny April,
Easter lilies shivering now
jaded.

***
Sun moves
growing stronger
swimming through liquid mercury
forcing needed warmth and bright change
alive

***
daydream
blue firmament
freedom to enjoy life
promordial passion fire
spring love.

Current WOOF Winners

Published by J Scott under building links

Hello all, I know I should be posting in here more often but at least I am trying to write a poem every week. This way there is a huge product base to choose from. I am looking to redesign my template to look somthing similar to a magazine and make it look more like a website as opposed to a blog. I think this might have people think I am a serious business person.

I participated in last week’s WOOF contest and although “Tulips” was not a winner. There were a ton of entries and I really think “Tulips” is one of my best acrostic styles poems yet and I am glad some entrants to the contest came to my site and read the poem, perhaps they will buy a poem one day.

Without further ado here are the winners…

Poetry
zorlone – “Almost a sin?” – A borrowed experience from a good friend which I turned into a poem. The main character asked this question in the end.
Dragon Blogger – “Lovers in Bed” – Another poem of passion between a couple.
Jennifer M Scott – “A Bad Night for a Poet” – I think the title describes it all, perhaps not my best work but it is genuine for what I am feeling at this moment.

Non-Fiction / Personal Memoir / Personal Essay / Philosophy
Dina Tibbs – “Kicke Out Of Kindegarten” – Memoir of my early years being raised by hippies.
Deeptesh Sen – “Dance at Dusk” – It was an experiment with the higher truths of life and profane religious thoughts engendered in this tormented world where only HE can save us again.

Tulips

Published by J Scott under acrostic poems, nature poems

Touch the landscape with
Unified rows of pink, white and red. When the
Lips open, inviting dreamy afternoons and child’s play. Through
Ice and dreary weather, snuggled deep in the earth, waiting to
Perfume the night, first flowers of
Spring, of regeneration when color permeates all that is gray.
