Hello all, I know I should be posting in here more often but at least I am trying to write a poem every week. This way there is a huge product base to choose from. I am looking to redesign my template to look somthing similar to a magazine and make it look more like a website as opposed to a blog. I think this might have people think I am a serious business person.
I participated in last week’s WOOF contest and although “Tulips” was not a winner. There were a ton of entries and I really think “Tulips” is one of my best acrostic styles poems yet and I am glad some entrants to the contest came to my site and read the poem, perhaps they will buy a poem one day.
Without further ado here are the winners…
Poetry
zorlone – “Almost a sin?” – A borrowed experience from a good friend which I turned into a poem. The main character asked this question in the end.
Dragon Blogger – “Lovers in Bed” – Another poem of passion between a couple.
Jennifer M Scott – “A Bad Night for a Poet” – I think the title describes it all, perhaps not my best work but it is genuine for what I am feeling at this moment.
Non-Fiction / Personal Memoir / Personal Essay / Philosophy
Dina Tibbs – “Kicke Out Of Kindegarten” – Memoir of my early years being raised by hippies.
Deeptesh Sen – “Dance at Dusk” – It was an experiment with the higher truths of life and profane religious thoughts engendered in this tormented world where only HE can save us again.

I am very dedicated to making my business work and apart of that dedication is trying to write a new poem every week. In addition to that submitting the poem to the WOOF contest for more exposure. You just never know who will click the link and decide to buy it. This past week, I submitted ‘Friendship” and although it didn’t win because another one of my poems won, I am sure at least several people read the poem and took something from it. Not only this but this does help with Page Rank as well. I would really like to have a page rank 4. I think that will put me on at least the first page for “personalized poetry.”
Please enjoy the winners of the past WOOF contest!
