I wanted to do something different. Normally when I post a poem it is done with the fonts on this blog and I think it detracts from the beauty of the overall poem. I made this using paint because Word Perfect doesn’t allow to me make different blocks of point size. This is also a perfect example of a short named poem. Remember the days when daisies
Encircled our laughter in days of sun.
Find the time to come together but days never
Last as long as we want them too.
Eaves collapse on memories we hold dear. When
Children cry, we will we remember our own
Time of carelessness and freedom?
Invitations from courtesy but the same excuse is used.
Once we are old and memories are all that we have, the
Nearby chasm awaits for our return, to find ourselves
Sipping from coconuts, laughing from above at those who never knew us.

As the night encroaches the lies fall apart, the clothes come off
Rhapsody is the nectar of the room, fall into me, make me
Sing into the witching hour. Because time is
Only nothing when we are together. And igniting the
Nebula of tomorrow with increasing desire.

Abundance is seeping through
Perforations in the Earth sweet smelling
Rhea born again from winter’s ashes like a phoenix
Imagine the very beginning when earth first blossomed
Lock the vision in your memory and revive the vision.

Touch the landscape with
Unified rows of pink, white and red. When the
Lips open, inviting dreamy afternoons and child’s play. Through
Ice and dreary weather, snuggled deep in the earth, waiting to
Perfume the night, first flowers of
Spring, of regeneration when color permeates all that is gray.

Voracious hunger to see you
Again, no matter where I
Lay my head, you and I are bound by
Eternal spirit.
Now that we found each other, my heart you have
Touched.
I love you regardless of what you’ll look like when we are in our
Nineties. Our hearts combined and our souls complete the jigsaw of our lives.
Each moment we are apart, I die a little bit but I know you and I are always.
