December Blankets
Thick clouds shake parmesan cheese onto the bareness
gaiety of childhood swells
as frosty men dance in memory.
Crystal flakes falling from above
Fall softly on my warm black leather jacket
Melt to form droplets of water on the heated glass of my windshield
Winter whispers in her ear
tickling the tip of her nose
falling fresh upon her lash, she smiles.
Time frozen within locks of sleighs and cocoa by the fire
Magick of a world covered in virgin lace
To waltz with flakes, eternal on this eve.
Exquisite Corpse is hosted by Before I am Famous.
