Short Names and Personalized Poetry

Published by J Scott under news and sales

If you are considering purchasing a personalized name poem and the person you are buying it for has a short name such as Ann, I suggest using their first and middle name. There is no additional charge for 2 names on one poem. Let’s assume the person’s name full name is Anna Marie now I have 9 letters to work with instead of 4.

Of course the choice is up to you as well.  I don’t have a letter limit or charge extra for long names. In fact you can order couple poems such as Sabrina and Matthew or Jessica and Alex. The last poem is a great example of a short name as his name is Alex and not Alexander. Regardless one poem with as many names is only $15.

For samples of personalized poems please click here There are sample of single name poems and couple poems. Soon I will be posting samples of first and middle name poems.

If you would like to order your own poem please click here.

Have a wonderful day.

Haunts
Abound with the promise of
Lollipops and
Luscious goodies.
On the night
When witches celebrate the
Ending of an old year, beginning of new
Eternal spirits walk the earth searching,
Night of magick for all.

Halloween Magick

Published by J Scott under other

Little people dressed so sweet
Dance along the city street
Hollering trick or treat

Ghouls, ghosts and vampire alike
Horror strikes this very night
So join these monsters, turn out the light

Whispering Whispering witches gathered ’round the cauldron,
Chanting magical words of wonderous accord,
Shhh, they may see you watching

Butchered, bleeding
lying on the porch,
a pumpkin.

The veil of mysticism descends on the dark night.
Glowing jack o lanterns and spirits among us
Tonight is for us all

Exquisite Corpse is hosted by Dragonfly Poems.

Experience with Bidvertiser

Published by J Scott under other

In my email, the other day I recieved a $20 credit from Bidvertiser. For those who don’t know Bidvertiser is a PPC (pay per click) advertising company, where you can choose how much you will pay for each click. In one day I exhausted all of my credit and recieved 89 click throughs, however no sales.

I do not think that Bidvetiser will work for Dragonfly Poems because I will never have enough business and sales to make up for the cost of running Bidvertiser ads.  Bidvertiser is expensive in my opinion and just didn’t work for me. I am thinking blog advertising will be my best bet in the long run since people will actually talk about the website as opposed a 2 line blurb about Dragonfly Poems.

Just a side note, I also tried Craig’s List and the only thing that brought me was a lot of spam for other advertising type of things. To make this business more successful would be finding the best advertsing method for my business.

Since, I have been working I drop hints about this site any chance I get and I have some business cards on hand to pass out when the need arises. I just got to keep plugging away and tweak a thing or two.

Any comments would be helpful thanks.
